Nokia – Burning Platform

Nokia CEO Stephen Elop’s memo to employees showing them the hard facts…!! Showing the way Apple and Google almost killed the dominating mobile player. Its good to see a CEO being true with his biggest asset – The employees.

Hello there,
There is a pertinent story about a man who was working on an oil platform in the North Sea. He woke up one night from a loud explosion, which suddenly set his entire oil platform on fire. In mere moments, he was surrounded by flames. Through the smoke and heat, he barely made his way out of the chaos to the platform's edge. When he looked down over the edge, all he could see were the dark, cold, foreboding Atlantic waters.

As the fire approached him, the man had mere seconds to react. He could stand on the platform, and inevitably be consumed by the burning flames. Or, he could plunge 30 meters in to the freezing waters. The man was standing upon a "burning platform," and he needed to make a choice.

He decided to jump. It was unexpected. In ordinary circumstances, the man would never consider plunging into icy waters. But these were not ordinary times - his platform was on fire. The man survived the fall and the waters. After he was rescued, he noted that a "burning platform" caused a radical change in his behaviour.

We too, are standing on a "burning platform," and we must decide how we are going to change our behaviour.
Over the past few months, I've shared with you what I've heard from our shareholders, operators, developers, suppliers and from you. Today, I'm going to share what I've learned and what I have come to believe.

I have learned that we are standing on a burning platform.
And, we have more than one explosion - we have multiple points of scorching heat that are fuelling a blazing fire around us.
For example, there is intense heat coming from our competitors, more rapidly than we ever expected. Apple disrupted the market by redefining the smartphone and attracting developers to a closed, but very powerful ecosystem.

In 2008, Apple's market share in the $300+ price range was 25 percent; by 2010 it escalated to 61 percent. They are enjoying a tremendous growth trajectory with a 78 percent earnings growth year over year in Q4 2010. Apple demonstrated that if designed well, consumers would buy a high-priced phone with a great experience and developers would build applications. They changed the game, and today, Apple owns the high-end range.
And then, there is Android. In about two years, Android created a platform that attracts application developers, service providers and hardware manufacturers. Android came in at the high-end, they are now winning the mid-range, and quickly they are going downstream to phones under €100. Google has become a gravitational force, drawing much of the industry's innovation to its core.

Let's not forget about the low-end price range. In 2008, MediaTek supplied complete reference designs for phone chipsets, which enabled manufacturers in the Shenzhen region of China to produce phones at an unbelievable pace. By some accounts, this ecosystem now produces more than one third of the phones sold globally - taking share from us in emerging markets.

While competitors poured flames on our market share, what happened at Nokia? We fell behind, we missed big trends, and we lost time. At that time, we thought we were making the right decisions; but, with the benefit of hindsight, we now find ourselves years behind.

The first iPhone shipped in 2007, and we still don't have a product that is close to their experience. Android came on the scene just over 2 years ago, and this week they took our leadership position in smartphone volumes. Unbelievable.

We have some brilliant sources of innovation inside Nokia, but we are not bringing it to market fast enough. We thought MeeGo would be a platform for winning high-end smartphones. However, at this rate, by the end of 2011, we might have only one MeeGo product in the market.

At the midrange, we have Symbian. It has proven to be non-competitive in leading markets like North America. Additionally, Symbian is proving to be an increasingly difficult environment in which to develop to meet the continuously expanding consumer requirements, leading to slowness in product development and also creating a disadvantage when we seek to take advantage of new hardware platforms. As a result, if we continue like before, we will get further and further behind, while our competitors advance further and further ahead.

At the lower-end price range, Chinese OEMs are cranking out a device much faster than, as one Nokia employee said only partially in jest, "the time that it takes us to polish a PowerPoint presentation." They are fast, they are cheap, and they are challenging us.

And the truly perplexing aspect is that we're not even fighting with the right weapons. We are still too often trying to approach each price range on a device-to-device basis.

The battle of devices has now become a war of ecosystems, where ecosystems include not only the hardware and software of the device, but developers, applications, ecommerce, advertising, search, social applications, location-based services, unified communications and many other things. Our competitors aren't taking our market share with devices; they are taking our market share with an entire ecosystem. This means we're going to have to decide how we either build, catalyse or join an ecosystem.
This is one of the decisions we need to make. In the meantime, we've lost market share, we've lost mind share and we've lost time.

On Tuesday, Standard & Poor's informed that they will put our A long term and A-1 short term ratings on negative credit watch. This is a similar rating action to the one that Moody's took last week. Basically it means that during the next few weeks they will make an analysis of Nokia, and decide on a possible credit rating downgrade. Why are these credit agencies contemplating these changes? Because they are concerned about our competitiveness.
Consumer preference for Nokia declined worldwide. In the UK, our brand preference has slipped to 20 percent, which is 8 percent lower than last year. That means only 1 out of 5 people in the UK prefer Nokia to other brands. It's also down in the other markets, which are traditionally our strongholds: Russia, Germany, Indonesia, UAE, and on and on and on.

How did we get to this point? Why did we fall behind when the world around us evolved?

This is what I have been trying to understand. I believe at least some of it has been due to our attitude inside Nokia. We poured gasoline on our own burning platform. I believe we have lacked accountability and leadership to align and direct the company through these disruptive times. We had a series of misses. We haven't been delivering innovation fast enough. We're not collaborating internally.

Nokia, our platform is burning.

We are working on a path forward -- a path to rebuild our market leadership. When we share the new strategy on February 11, it will be a huge effort to transform our company. But, I believe that together, we can face the challenges ahead of us. Together, we can choose to define our future.

The burning platform, upon which the man found himself, caused the man to shift his behavior, and take a bold and brave step into an uncertain future. He was able to tell his story. Now, we have a great opportunity to do the same.

Stephen.

Perfect Man v/s Perfect Woman

A very old story I recollected… No hard feelings, its just for fun.

Once upon a time, a perfect man and a perfect woman met.
After a perfect courtship, they had a perfect wedding.
Their life together was, of course, perfect.

One snowy, stormy Christmas Eve, this perfect couple was driving their perfect car along a winding road, when they noticed someone at the side of the road in distress.

Being the perfect couple, they stopped to help. There stood Santa Claus with a huge bundle of toys. Not wanting to disappoint any children on the eve of Christmas, the perfect couple loaded Santa and his toys into their vehicle.

Soon they were driving along delivering the toys. Unfortunately, the driving conditions deteriorated and the perfect couple and Santa Claus had an accident.

Only one of them survived the accident.

Question: Who was the survivor?
(Scroll down for the answer. Trust me, it's worth it)

Answer:
The perfect woman survived. She's the only one who really existed in the first place. Everyone knows there is no Santa Claus and there is no such thing as a perfect man.
**** Women stop reading here, that is the end of the joke.
**** Men keep scrolling.

So, if there is no perfect man and no Santa Claus, the woman must have been driving. This explains why there was a car accident.

By the way, if you're a woman and you're still reading, this illustrates another point: Women never listen.

Few Lessons for Life…

Writing after a gap of more than 7 months. Life,Work and Travel has kept me busy. It’s good to be back and continuing from were I left…

Some stories I have read/heard from various places/people. Don’t know the real authors. Just sharing them…

Story 2All are significant

During my second month of management school, our professor gave us an exam. I breezed through the questions, until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?"

Surely this was some kind of joke. I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was thin, dark-haired and in her 40s, but how would I know her name? I never felt a need to interact with her. I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank. Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our exam grade.

"Absolutely," said the professor. "In your life and careers, you will meet many people. All are significant.

They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say 'Hello, How are you doing'."

I've never forgotten that lesson. I also found out her name was Uma.

Few Lessons for Life…

Some stories I have read/heard from various places/people. Don’t know the real authors. Just sharing them…

Story 1Treat each customer equally

When an ice cream sundae cost much less than now, a 10 year-old boy entered a hotel coffee shop and sat down at a table.

A waitress put a glass of water in front of him.
"How much is an ice cream sundae?" he asked.
"50 cents" replied the waitress.

The little boy pulled his hand out of his pocket and studied the coins in it.

"Well, how much is a plain dish of ice cream?" he inquired.
By now more people were waiting for a table and the waitress was growing impatient. "35 cents" she rudely replied.

The little boy again counted his coins.
"I'll have the plain ice cream" he said. The waitress brought the ice cream, put the bill on the table and walked away.

The boy finished the ice cream, paid the cashier and left.
When the waitress came back, she began to cry as she wiped down the table. There, placed neatly beside the empty dish, were 15 cents.

You see, he couldn't have the sundae, because he had to have enough left to leave her a tip.

Treat people equally and unbiased.

Thanks for reading and keep checking this space, will be posting few more short stories.

Ducks Quack, Eagles Soar

Here is a nice article I read and thought to share with all. I’m not aware of the original author this. All credits to him/her.

“No one can make you serve customers well. That's because great service is a choice.”

Harvey Mackay, tells a wonderful story about a cab driver that proved this point.

He was waiting in line for a ride at the airport. When a cab pulled up, the first thing Harvey noticed was that the taxi was polished to a bright shine.

Smartly dressed in a white shirt, black tie, and freshly pressed black slacks, the cab driver jumped out and rounded the car to open the back passenger door for Harvey .

He handed my friend a laminated card and said:
“I'm Wally, your driver. While I'm loading your bags in the trunk I'd like you to read my mission statement.”

Taken aback, Harvey read the card. It said:

Wally's Mission Statement:
“To get my customers to their destination in the quickest, safest and cheapest way possible in a friendly environment.”

This blew Harvey away. Especially when he noticed that the inside of the cab matched the outside. Spotlessly clean!

As he slid behind the wheel, Wally said, 'Would you like a cup of coffee? I have a thermos of regular and one of decaf.'

My friend said jokingly, 'No, I'd prefer a soft drink.'

Wally smiled and said, 'No problem. I have a cooler up front with regular and Diet Coke, water and orange juice.'

Almost stuttering, Harvey said, 'I'll take a Diet Coke.'

Handing him his drink, Wally said, 'If you'd like something to read, I  have The Wall Street Journal, Time, Sports Illustrated and USA Today.'

As they were pulling away, Wally handed my friend another laminated card, -  'These are the stations I get and the music they play, if you'd like to listen to the radio.'

And as if that weren't enough, Wally told Harvey that he had the air conditioning on and asked if the temperature was comfortable for him.

Then he advised Harvey of the best route to his destination for that time of day. He also let him know that he'd be happy to chat and tell him about some of the sights or, if Harvey preferred, to leave him with his own thoughts.

'Tell me, Wally,' my amazed friend asked the driver, 'have you always served customers like this?'

Wally smiled into the rear view mirror. 'No, not always. In fact, it's only been in the last two years. My first five years driving, I spent most of my time complaining like all the rest of the cabbies do. Then I heard the personal growth guru, Wayne Dyer, on the radio one day.

He had just written a book called - “You'll See It When You Believe It”. Dyer said that if you get up in the morning expecting to have a bad day, you'll rarely disappoint yourself. He said, 'Stop complaining!

Differentiate yourself from your competition. Don't be a duck. Be an eagle. “Ducks quack and complain. Eagles soar above the crowd.''

'That hit me right between the eyes,' said Wally. 'Dyer was really talking about me. I was always quacking and complaining, so I decided to change my attitude and become an eagle.

I looked around at the other cabs and their drivers. The cabs were dirty, the drivers were unfriendly, and the customers were unhappy. So I decided to make some changes. I put in a few at a time. When my customers responded well, I did more.

'I take it that has paid off for you,' Harvey said.

'It sure has,' Wally replied. 'My first year as an eagle, I doubled my income from the previous year. This year I'll probably quadruple it.

You were lucky to get me today. I don't sit at cabstands anymore. My customers call me for appointments on my cell phone or leave a message on my answering machine. If I can't pick them up myself, I get a reliable cabbie friend to do it and I take a piece of the action.

Wally was phenomenal. He was running a limo service out of a Yellow Cab.

I've probably told that story to more than fifty cab drivers over the years, and only two took the idea and ran with it. Whenever I go to their cities, I give them a call.

The rest of the drivers quacked like ducks and told me all the reasons they couldn't do any of what I was suggesting.

Wally the Cab Driver made a different choice. He decided to stop quacking like ducks and start soaring like eagles.

How about us?

Smile, and the whole world smiles with you... The ball is in our hands!

A man reaps what he sows. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up... let us do good to all people.

Ducks Quack, Eagles Soar….!!

Dreams Unlimited - I Got Killed…

Dream 24I Got Killed

After quiet a long time I’m back with another dream.

I dreamed of me working in a cram school. During the lunch time, my friend G was waiting for me outside and its raining. We two walking under one umbrella and then I meet another friend of mine M. I told G – “Sorry, I cant come with you”  And I went with M.

Me and M went to a sea food restaurant. As soon as we enter the restaurant we saw the crab, shells and other fish where hanging on the walls. And I said - “No don’t eat here, it’s weird…” But he insisted to look around and we went upstairs and upstairs. There were so many floors. I kept going up faster then him.

When I reached the top, I found one old guy is moving some rocks and trying to block the stairs. I said - “Heyyy I am here, I have to get down.”  But he didn't even look at me, he kept moving the rocks to the stairs.

I jumped off the rock and my friend was still looking at those seafoods on the wall. Then suddenly – Boooooooooooooom..!!!!!!!
and I was killed. The whole building exploded and I was killed. Someone took my body home.

When I opened my eyes, I knew - I was a ghost. My family were all in living room. I went to them said - “Hey, I’m dead….”  But they don't seem to bother - My brother keeps watching TV…… My Dad keeps drinking tea…… and My Mom just walked away like she does not care…...

And I just know my sister did it…. She killed me…. She set the bomb....  I just came to know it now. I walked to her - her face looked so different in dream - more beautiful!!!

I just walked to her and slapped her.. slapped her two times
and said - “How can you kill me…!!! You ruined my life...!!!”

Then I made a call to M to see if he is dead too? It was his friend who answered me, he said - “No M is not dead, but lot of injuries but he will recover.” Then I said - “Ok tell him - I'm dead……”       And I hang up the phone.

Then my boss in cram school called me and I was hesitating, if I should answer. Because I know I have to get back to work -- but I’m dead now. I was thinking what excuse to say to my boss. Then I picked the phone and pretend I'm the mother and said -“Oh she fainted away.. when she get sober I will ask her to go back to work.“

And the dream ends…

Feel free to post your constructive comments. Watch out for more…

Thanks again to that very special person for sharing....

Thinking - Man vs Woman

A little story we discussed on a Saturday nite gathering that shows the essential differences between a man and a woman. Don't know the origin…!!! Please read it unbiased - No offenses to any gender.. !!! It just a 3rd dimension view.

Let's say a guy named Rudy is attracted to a woman named Angela. He asks her out to a movie. She accepts, they have a pretty good time. A few nights later he asks her out to dinner, and again they enjoy themselves. They continue to see each other regularly.

And then, one evening when they're driving home, a thought occurs to Angela, and without really thinking, she says it: "Do you realize that, as of tonight, we've been seeing each other for exactly six months?

And then there is silence in the car. To Angela, it seems like a very loud silence. She thinks to herself: Geezz, I wonder if it bothers him that I said that. Maybe he's been feeling confined by our relationship, maybe he thinks I'm trying to push him into some kind of obligation that he doesn't want, or isn't sure of.

And Rudy is thinking: Wohhh. Six months.
And Angela is thinking: But hey, I'm not so sure I want this kind of relationship either. Sometimes I wish I had a little more space, so I'd have time to think about whether I really want us to keep going the way we are, moving steadily toward. I mean, where are we going? Are we heading towards a marriage? Towards children? Towards a lifetime together? Am I ready for that level of commitment? Do I really even know this person?

And Rudy is thinking: So that means it was…. let's see.. February when we started going out, which was right after I had the car at the dealer's, which means… lemme check the odometer… Wohhh..! I am way overdue for an oil change.
And Angela is thinking: He's upset. I can see it on his face. Maybe I'm reading this completely wrong. Maybe he wants more from our relationship, more intimacy, more commitment. Maybe he has sensed even before I sensed it. Yes, I bet that's it. That's why he's so reluctant to say anything about his own feelings. He's afraid of being rejected.

And Rudy is thinking: And I'm gonna have them look at this transmission again. It's still not shifting right. And they better not try to blame it on the cold weather this time. It's 28 degrees celsius out, and this thing is shifting like a garbage truck, and I paid them a huge amount.
And Angela is thinking: He's angry. And I don't blame him. I'd be angry, too. I feel so guilty, putting him through this, but I can't help the way I feel. I'm just not sure.

And Rudy is thinking: They'll probably say it's only a limited warranty. Crap..That's exactly what they're going to say.
And Angela is thinking: Maybe I'm just too idealistic, waiting for a ‘prince charming’ to come riding up on his ‘white horse’. When here I'm, sitting right next to a perfectly good person, a person I enjoy being with, a person I truly do care about, a person who also seems to truly care about me. And I put him in pain because of my self-centered, schoolgirl romantic fantasy.

And Rudy is thinking: Warranty? They want a warranty? I'll give them a warranty. I'll take their warranty and stick it right up their ......  I’m the customer, I will teach them their basic lesson - “Customer is always Right”. Ok, I’m ready for this..

Angela says aloud - “Rudyyy”.
"Ughh.. What? Tell me" says Rudy, looking shocked.
"Please don't torture yourself like this," she says,  "Maybe I should never have.” her eyes are slowly filling up with tears.

Rudy says - “Huh, What?”
"I'm such a fool," Angela sobs. "I mean, I know there's no prince charming. I really know that. It's silly. There's no prince, and there's no horse."
Rudy says - "Huh.. There's no H-O-R-S-E ?"

"You think I'm a fool, don't you?" Angela says.
"No no no.. !!" says Rudy

Angela says - "It's just that . . . I need some time”
(There is a 10-second pause while Rudy, thinking as fast as he can, tries to come up with a safe response. Finally he comes up with one that he thinks might work.)
"Hmm.. Yes," he says.
"Oh, Rudy, do you really feel that way?" she says.
(Rudy is again confused thinking he answered that one wrong)  He says  - “Wa.. What way ?”.
Angela says - "That way about ‘time’, that I need some time"
"Oh, yaa, yes yes, I think you should" says Rudy.
(Angela turns to face him and gazes deeply into his eyes, causing him to become very nervous about what she might say next, especially if it involves a h-o-r-s-e,    he is doomed again..)
She says - "Thank you, Rudy..!!"
"Thank you.." says Rudy.

Then he takes her home. Angela goes straight to her restroom and then on her bed. A disturbed and conflicted soul, and weeps until dawn. Whereas when Rudy gets back home, he opens a packet of Lays (I love that stuff ehh..), fires up the  internet on his Laptop, and immediately becomes deeply involved on mails/news/twitter/online friends. A tiny voice in his mind tells him that something major was going on back there in the car, but he is pretty sure there is no way he would ever understand what, and so he figures it's better if he doesn't think about it.

The next day Angela will call her best friend, or maybe two of them, and they will come over and talk about this situation for six to seven straight hours, probably over an icecream bucket and lot of tissue papers. In all detail, they will analyze everything ‘she said’ and everything ‘he said’, going over it time and time again, exploring every word, expression, and gesture and meanings, considering every possible ramification. They will continue to discuss this subject, off and on, for weeks, maybe months, never reaching any definite conclusions, but never getting bored with it, either.

Meanwhile one day, Rudy, while meeting up with a mutual friend of his and Angela’s, will pause just and say:
"Raj, Did Angela ever own a horse?"

:) Hope you enjoyed the view…. Wanna think a bit next time you fall into a similar situation. Thinking of 2 people could be way different.

A Woman Goes To The Doctor

Read this and thought should be shared. No offence to all lovely girls over there. Take it light… :)

A woman goes to the doctor, beaten black and blue. . . . .

Doctor: What happened?
Woman: Doctor, I don't know what to do. Every time my husband comes home from the pub he beats me to a pulp....

Doctor: I have really good medicine against that: When your husband comes home from the pub, just take a tiny straw and sip an ice cold 2 litre bottle of cold-drink  dry.

2 weeks later she comes back to the doctor and looks reborn and fresh again.
Woman: Doc, that was a brilliant idea! Every time my husband came home drunk I sipped a 2 litre Coke empty and he never touched me.
Doctor:  You see how keeping your mouth shut helps!!!

One Life, Live it…

Everything you know is bullshit. Death isn't real. Life is just a dream. Enjoy yourself. Stop worrying. Stop being scared. Go after what you want, even if what you want seems beyond the realm of possibility.

Make it happen. You are god here on Earth, whoever you are. Even if you have to crawl out of the dirt to make it happen, you CAN make it happen. Never surrender to your own fear and never lose the energy you have inside.

There is no god, there is no ending, there is only just here and now.

Dreams Unlimited - A Horse Ride

Dream 23 – A Horse Ride

I dreamt that - I was riding a horse, but I was so afraid because I don’t know how to ride a horse, but that horse was a smart one. It never made me fall.

While riding I took a baby from the street and hold it with me because some people were hurting her. Then after few hops I took a woman too. Due to this lot of  people were chasing me. I see some soldiers chasing me.... but they are creepy, they are the ancient time soldiers, they looked like they are from some dynasty.

The horse took me to a small community and we lived there. I notice - The baby grew a lot when we arrive there and become a little girl (strange baby huh…). We lived in a small house in the community. There were some soldiers living at downstairs. These soldiers were friendly.

Then I find something green in our house...I don't know what it is but… something green and  someone told the soldier that we got green thing in the house.  They are so angry, and  said - “we are all going to be killed, because green is sin..” Their dynasty hated green things. And I started running again…..

On the way suddenly the same smart horse appeared and told me to climb on him. The horse started taking us (me and the little girl, I don't know where did the woman I picked up vanished). Now the horse took us to a another community – I see a lot of people gathered at the entrance with garlands and some fruits/food. One very old looking guy came to greet us, as if he was expecting us…. I felt strange…

He introduced himself as the head of this community. He took me around the community and showed the houses – it was all simple houses made of wood, but looking very beautiful, because all people around there was happy and cheerful. I asked him - “Is green sin here ?”  He gave me a strange look and said – what green, what sin...  What you talking about? I said – Nevermind and we moved on..

Then he took us to a house and told this is a special house and we present this house to you. To me it looked similar to all other houses. So I asked the old man – What is special about this house. He says - “This is the only house with a door bell and a lock…”

I was surprised to see a community where people didn't use doorbell and locks.. thinking this I entered the house and lay on the soft bed… and after sometime I hear the door bell ringing.. I was too tired from riding so long on the house… I did not wanted to get up…. But it kept ringing louder and louder and louder….. and it broke my sleep (the real sleep and my dream….)

And my dream ends…

When I woke up into real world – My Door Bell was really ringing… What surprised me more was when I opened the door – I see an old man looking similar face, like the one I saw in dream standing at my door (but he was wearing pants/shirt unlike the one in dream who wore an ancient dress….). He wanted to ask me directions to some place he wanted to go…  I helped him with direction and he told me - Thanks and  “Sorry to disturb your dream”

Strange rite… dreams merging to reality….. I’m always astonished by the world for dreams….

Feel free to post your constructive comments. Watch out for more…

Thanks again to that very special person for sharing....

Dreams Unlimited - Being Chased Till I Pee

Dream 22 – Being Chased Till I Pee

After a long time my special person has shared some dreams with me. Trying to write it now..

Dream starts with me and my friend Anita in a woman shop. It is Anita’s shop. I just go there to help her out in the shop.

One guy came to return some item he purchased and wanted refund. I look at his receipt and told him – no way, because its been 7days and return policy is effective only for 7 days. So no refund after a week. But he insisted on getting his refund. I said –” No no no… Never..” He got angry and I screamed at him.

He got pissed off because of this and suddenly he shot a thick needle to Anita’s face, on her cheek. Then she cried out to me – “Oh my god this guy is a Mafiaaa…. Run, run…” I started running…. He and his guys started chasing me and oh my god –Anita is already dead, after she got that shot :(

I started running fast and they were chasing me behind. Everywhere I ran, the people there got the same shot and all are dead..

They were amazing, they shot the needle at the same time and  which came flying to the target’s cheek perfectly… and landed on the same place on the cheek.

I kept running, I saw a school and  ran to a classroom, pretending I’m one of the students there. But they knew I’m there, and they shot all the students, except me. I managed to run and escape again, I'm lucky again . I saw Anita's tomb on the way
and kept running.

Then I saw a toilet, I took off my pants and started to pee, damn… I did really pee,  which broke my sleep and then I woke up screaming and ran to my toilet cause I felt myself almost peeing in real on bed…. haha haha…. :)

And my dream ends…

Feel free to post your constructive comments. Watch out for more…

Thanks again to that very special person for sharing....

My First Dream

My First Dream - 1

Welcome to all new followers on the blog… Its great to see people joining in. Inspires me to write more, write often….

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas….. and looking forward to a Happy New Year…!!! My wishes to all my followers and the readers.

Its been long I have penned something, mostly due to the busy schedule. Well what’s a more better way to restart by sharing ‘My own’ dream :) Wondering whose dreams where those that I wrote earlier? Well then, maybe you missed to read the disclaimer in them. :)

When the dream starts I find myself between a crowd of people. They are all busy doing their own personal stuff – Some where talking on cell phone, some were talking to each other, Some were reading book.

Then I see one person is running towards me. He got something in his hands, look like a paper/note. He reaches me and hands over that paper to me and says, the king has send this for me. I was shocked to hear about a king in the era of cell phones… :)  I ask him, oh where is king. He point far away and says – you can see there…

I see a bright light coming from the the side and I see a kingly looking guy walks out and calls me near him. Once I reach him he says – now read the note in the paper. I go ahead and look at the the note, I feel a jitter, a shake while reading the note and my dream breaks…

I hope I can continue this dream and I can read what exactly was written over there in the note.

Keep watching……
